That was just AMAZINGLY fun. :)
The only thing I ask? Please, please put a fast forward in for later levels when you have to try a solution 20+ times until you get it right? ;)
It's a pretty decent game with good controls and a nice concept. I love that your targeting has to be developed instead of being instantly perfect accuracy.
But. You had to go and ruin it by locking NG users out of the highest upgrades and shoving a very annoying advertisement in the preloader. Sure, your bills are being paid by those folks, but don't penalize us for playing your game in which you display the ads anyway on a site that isn't your sponsor's.
The game... was an attempt. The concept is a nice one - a sidescrolling RPG. However, the execution is just horrible. Your hit detection sucks, your AI is stupid (I can make them chase me in circles, why don't they know how to flank?) and quite frankly it doesn't feel like you playtested the game at all.
Try redoing the game from scratch and see what you can come up with.
The one major downside to this game is that the timer doesn't stop running when you pump the water. I kept failing by half a second or less - you could hear the field growing when the game over screen came up.
Otherwise, I had fun. :)
I hve to admit, I love how many people completely miss the point of this game.
I want to like it.
I want to like this flash, very badly. It's got a good premise behind it, it has the potential to be a lot of fun, and it could even easily expand into online multiplayer scenarios if you wanted to work that hard.
But the controls are akward. The timing is on the "too short" side of acceptable. The game could be a lot of fun, but the timing is the one thing that's going to hold you back. If the animation only registers me hitting every third note, there's something going on that's a bit funny.
Great attempt though. It's still fun to play even if the timing is off. I definately enjoy it, and please, if you get the timing right do release another version. It'll be awesome!

It was alright.
The game was kind of fun, though it was short and mouse click events weren't always registered. I'd like to know how rank is determined, and that's not shown anywhere in the flash.
You might try making sure that click detection works completely, add a few levels, and add a few variants and rewards for achieving a certain rank to add some spice and uniqueness to this game. Good try, though, and certainly something I wouldn't mind playing again if I was really bored.
Ranking is the average between your score and your highest combo.
< 20000 = F
< 24000 = D
< 28000 = C
< 32000 = B
>= 32000 = A
< 5 = F
< 15 = D
< 20 = C
< 25 = B
>= 25 = A
Ans I'm not quite sure I notice the absence of the click registering on my computer. I've never had a problem but I'll still look into it.

I like the game as it is now, but maybe some suggestions for future editions?
1.) Teacher is dateable. Please, please, please..
2.) Events. One works for me. Glitch?
3.) Easier interface to get to the status screen! I cannot repeat how annoying it was to get there.
Otherwise.. it's a sweet game. :)
